freepops-updater-gnome software package provides GNOME interface for the freepops updater engine, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freepops-updater-gnome
freepops-updater-gnome is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freepops-updater-gnome package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freepops-updater-gnome *
You will get with freepops-updater-gnome package name, version, architecture and description in a table
